345 I am up for a change
Changes occur all the time, not always where someone wants them to be though. There a some moments where I wish something wouldn’t change for a long time, I am literally talking about time here. I wish you could press the pause button and the situation just doesn’t go by. You know how that is. But apart from a lot of things, no one will ever be able to change, there are some things you can. I am up for a change.
I wanted a clean start, so I could figure out who I am and what I want to do with my life. I got that kind of wish, I stepped out of the plane. I encountered being in a new city, being in a different country, being on the other side of the earth. I didn’t know anyone to start with. Now I do, the time has passed. And everything is fucked up again.
It is hard to admit that you aren’t the person you would like. Some people say it is so easy to change, but I don’t feel that way. There are moments when I look in the mirror and I like myself, I feel loved and content. In these moments, I wish you could stop the time from changing everything all over. But again, we can not control things like that. And we shouldn’t dwell trying to.
What I figured out until this point in time is, that clean starts aren’t always the best thing. It might help you in the beginning, but in the long run – you have to fight for who you want to be.
